Ultraviolette Shockwave Launched at Rs 1.5L
Ultraviolette, India’s high-performance bike maker recently launched the new Ultraviolette Shockwave electric enduro bike alongside their first ever electric scooter Tesseract at their Fast Forward India event in Bengaluru. The enduro is aimed at the thrill seekers who want to scale those rough terrains, but it’s usable in the city too.

About the Ultraviolette Shockwave
The Shockwave, as called by the brand “Funduro”, is a fun enduro motorbike with a tagline of “Too Stoked”. Priced at Rs 1.5 Lakh for the 1st 1000 buyers and then the price will increase to Rs 1.75 Lakh (ex-showroom)
For the price, it’s quite the value since it’s a fun electric enduro that only weighs 120 kilos, which is quite light. The only other street legal enduro or adventure that is close to this is the Xpulse from Hero which costs a bit more. The price is even more justified when we consider that the Shockwave is packing a solid 505 Nm of torque at the wheel (yes you read that right) which is more than even the F77.

Design-wise, the Ultraviolette Shockwave screams enduro with a sleek chassis, vertically arranged dual LED headlight, a tall windscreen, a front beak and wire-spoked wheels with dual-purpose off-road tyres. As for colours, the Funduro is offered in 2 options and they are both youthful and flamboyant.

Ultraviolette Shockwave: Features and Specifications
The enduro gets a high-set handlebar and a brace pad. It also gets a fully digital cluster that supports Bluetooth connectivity and LTE connectivity with integrated eSim feature. The seat has a single-piece design and can accommodate two people: The rider and the pillion, so this bike can be used for urban commutes too.
Riders can also tailor their experiences with 4 levels of traction control along with 6 levels of regenerative braking. It also uses a single-speed reduced transmission and switchable ABS. Traction control is also provided to prevent unwanted mishaps.

Speaking of which, you get an IDC certified range of 165Km on a single charge, which is decent for city use. It features a single electric motor with 14.5 bhp/ 505Nm, making it quick. The bike can go 0-60 kmph in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 120 kmph.
The Shockwave is equipped with a 37 mm front suspension offering 200 mm of travel while the rear suspension offers 180 mm wheel travel, meaning enhanced off-roading capabilities.
The bike is fitted with 19-inch spoke wheels at the front paired with a 17-inch spoke rear wheel wrapped in 110/90 R17 tyres. Meanwhile, the braking is taken care of by a 270 mm front disc with a dual piston calliper and a 220 mm rear disc with a floating single-piston calliper, supported by ABS.

Deliveries of the Ultraviolette Shockwave will commence from Q1 of 2026. With this, the brand has a total of 5 platforms now. F stands for sportsbikes, S stands for scooters, L for lightweight bikes and two more platforms, X and B, which will see bikes soon, with no form factor revealed yet.
