New Mahindra XUV 3XO India Launch at Rs 7.49 Lakh

Mahindra has launched the much-awaited facelifted XUV300, named the XUV 3XO. The SUV starts at Rs 7.49 Lakh for the base XUV 3XO MX1 trim and goes up to Rs 15.49 Lakh for the top-spec AX7L variant. The SUV gets a comprehensive list of new and updated features and also a new automatic option for one of the petrol engines.

Mahindra XUV 3XO – Facelift Done Right!

Design-wise too the XUV 3XO has become quite sharp and aggressive. The design is inspired by Mahindra’s upcoming lineup of electric SUVs which includes a sharper nose, LED DRLs and a refreshed front bumper and headlamp assembly. The Compact SUV also features a new two-part grille with a larger central air intake on the bumper. The rear has a revised tailgate which is a lot smoother now with a full-width LED light bar and sleek C-shaped tail lamps. The registration plate is now placed on the back bumper instead of on the tailgate. The SUV 3XO also gets new alloy wheels finished in dark chrome on the higher-spec trims.

Furthermore, the Mahindra XUV 3XO will be offered in 7 exterior paint jobs including Dune Dust, Nebula Blue, Citrine Yellow, Stealth Black, Deep Forest and Everest White while the higher PRO variants get dual-tone colour options.

Meanwhile, the XUV 3XO’s interior is very much similar to the XUV400 including the dashboard, features and even many of the safety kits. Apart from that, the previously spotted features like the 10.25-inch infotainment and driver’s display, dual-zone climate control and panoramic sunroof ( 940 mm long and 870 mm wide), while the top-spec XUV 3XO AX7L PRO variant gets all-LED lighting, a 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with a 380W amplifier, wireless AppleCarplay and Android Auto, the Adrenox Connect in-car connectivity suite, a 65W Type C Charging port, rear AC vents and more.

Safety features are also loaded in the XUV 3XO which includes 6 airbags, rear disc brakes, ESP, and ISOFIX anchors. The higher variants further get a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitor, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold and Level 2 ADAS which is first in its segment since other rivals like the Sonet and Venue both get Level 1.

For the dashboard and other bits, soft-touch materials have been used to provide a premium feel. The company also claims that the boot space is now up from 257 litres to 295 litres with 60:40 split-folding seats as standard.

As for Powertrains, the entry-level MX1, MX2 PRO, MX3 and AX5 trims will get the 111hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit while most of the other variants will get the 117hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. Meanwhile. the AX5L variants and higher will feature the 131hp, 1.2-litre direct injection turbo-petrol motor which comes paired with an Aisin-sourced 6-speed manual torque converter automatic.
